Working under award-winning DoP Rui Poças, this was one of Jaap’s first camera operating roles. Involved from pre- to post-production, he collaborated closely with director Tiago Pedro de Carvalho and Rui Poças on both creative and technical decisions.

All Birds
A film born from improvisation, character research and family dinners, with six talented third- and fourth-year actors from the Actors' Course and the Performing course at the Theater Academy in Maastricht. Under the direction of Fabian Jansen, they searched and found never before portrayed characters in a previously unimagined story.

Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts

The MINI Story
A VR-driven transmedia project alongside traditional commercials. Jaap directed the interactive experience and operated camera on selected spots. The MINI Story VR project won the German Design Award.
